Ravia Fire Department floor.
We were fortunate enough to get the chance to redo this floor.
We grinded and removed the original coating, and, instead of going back with the grey epoxy coating, we did a stain and seal with industrial strength clear epoxy (FW-38) and (Hi-Wear 90).
I engraved the bay numbers in the concrete and stained them so that they wouldn't just be topical and wear off after a short time.
I also engraved their logo in the center and stained it pretty close to their logo colors.
This project took a while due to the amount of grinding, but, in the end, it turned out really good!
While working on the floor, we got to witness first hand just how dedicated all of the firemen are. When a call came through the radio, it wasn't but a couple of minutes before they started rolling in. The big doors would open up, and they would come out all dressed with their equipment on, jumpin’ into the fire trucks, heading out to wherever they needed to go to help with whatever they needed to help with. It was very eye opening and very impressive. Truly a great experience all the way around!
Thanks to Fire Chief Thomas Miller for everything!!!!
