Job Title: CDL Truck Driver and equipment operator MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A STRAIGHT DRIVE DUMP TRUCK

Job Type: Full-Time or part Time!

Location: SRO Construction, Todd, NC

Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver with a CDL license to join our team. This position involves transporting materials and operating grading equipment as needed for construction or similar projects. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL license, strong driving skills, and experience with construction equipment or grading operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a truck to transport materials to and from job sites.
* Load and unload construction materials, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
* Operate grading equipment (e.g., bulldozers, excavator, skid steer, tractor, graders) as necessary to assist in construction or excavation projects is preferred but not required.
* Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and report any issues immediately.
*General labor also required
*Follow all safety guidelines and road regulations, including weight limits and hazardous materials handling.
*Work closely with project managers and site crews to ensure timely deliveries and the proper handling of materials.
*Assist in setting up and maintaining grading operations when required.
*Maintain professional communication with dispatchers and customers.

Qualifications:
*Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
*Proven experience as a truck driver (these are all daily jobs in a dump truck)
*Familiarity/experience with grading
*Experience operating construction equipment (e.g., graders, bulldozers) is a plus.
*Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking and grading operations.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
*Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks.

Physical Requirements:
*Ability to drive for long periods.
*Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor as needed.
*Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

Compensation:
*Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
*Paid weekly
*Daily lunch meal
