Happy Holidays! Check out this great before and after of an adorable French Country home off Salisbury Rd, in Maumee. A soft pewter glaze on linen paint with a cherry island. We did remove the wall between the kitchen and the dining room, creating a much more used everyday casual dining space. We also tucked in a great coffee bar area where the "not so used" desk was. Midwest Residential Contractors helped out with making it a reality. Looking forward to what 2026 has in store! Happy New year!

If you have ever been a client of mine over the last 21 years you have heard me say time and time again. "I may come up with great ideas... BUT I am only as good as that person installing it" One of my ALL TIME FAVORITE people to put my creations together is this man, Scott Kohn. He has worked with Dave Thompson for as long as I have known him and he has been someone that I have so enjoyed being friends with over the years. I saddens me to say he is in the battle for his life. He was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer. He is too weak to work and needs to use all of his reserves for fighting this awful disease. I know many of you have been touched by Scott over the years and if you can find it in your heart to contribute to this fund, he would benefit greatly. Prayers are much appreciated.

BEFORE & AFTER
This contemporary remodel on the river in Perrysburg makes for a great entertaining space. The kitchen used to be in a small area off the dining room. We took over the dining room space, moved the dining table to a cozy spot by the fireplace and created a great pantry and wine area where the old kitchen was. Let me know what you think! Enjoy

BEFORE & AFTER (full post)
I had to post this darling OTTAWA HILLS remodel we did back in 2015. I love working on small challenging old spaces AND having clients that are amenable to change! Taking the breakfast nook out of the equation allowed us to get some much needed space in the kitchen. Didn't change any windows or doors... just that wall between the kitchen and nook... HUGE change.
Also didn't hurt we had a GREAT TEAM working on the project!!
