❤️💔 A HEARTFELT, URGENT MESSAGE FROM OUR FAMILY… COX’S TREE & LAWN CARE 💔❤️
This is, without a doubt, one of the hardest posts we’ve ever had to write. But at this point, we’re completely out of options and honesty is all we have left.
A few days ago, we shared a post asking for work. We were blessed with a few calls and messages, and we were so grateful… but unfortunately, nothing came through. And now we’re at a breaking point.
We haven’t had steady work in almost two weeks, and before that it was just a job here and there. It’s getting to the point where we’re staring at the possibility of closing our doors for good. And writing those words feels like something inside us is shattering.
Most of you know that when I was diagnosed with cancer, it wiped out everything we had. Every bit of savings, every emergency dollar, gone. I couldn’t even finish treatment because we had no insurance and no money. But we didn’t quit. We fought. And out of that fight, this business was born.
We started Cox’s Tree & Lawn Care with one lawnmower, a couple w**d whippers, a leaf blower, one chainsaw, and sheer determination. We knocked on doors. We passed out flyers. We built this business with our bare hands because we wanted something to pass down to our kids—a future, a legacy, a way for them to stand strong even after I’m gone.
This company isn’t just our livelihood… it’s our children’s livelihood too.
It’s how they put food on the table.
It’s how they work.
It’s how they build their future.
If this company fails, it’s not just us losing everything—
our kids lose their jobs, their stability, their direction.
That’s the part that breaks us the most.
Right now, we’re standing on the edge of a very painful decision… one we never thought we’d have to face. But before we close these doors, we’re asking—humbly and from the bottom of our hearts—for help.
