Exterior updates can make a bigger impact than people realize.

On this project, we’re replacing builder-grade vinyl faux shutters with functional painted wood shutters and adding wood window trim that was never included with the original build.

A project like this involves more than selecting a style because details matter. From hinge offsets depending on siding versus brick molding, to selecting proper dog ears and durable latching hardware, every component plays a role in making shutters look right and function the way they’re intended to.

The goal is to bring more character, better craftsmanship, and thoughtful details back to the exterior of the home.

Today we remember.

This Memorial Day feels especially meaningful as we reflect on the service and legacy of Amanda’s grandfather, Bobbie D. Anderson, and honor all who served our country with courage and sacrifice.

Today is a reminder that the freedoms and opportunities we enjoy came at a cost carried by generations before us. We pause to remember, reflect, and express our gratitude for those who gave so much in service to others.

Wishing everyone a meaningful Memorial Day as we honor and remember those who served and those whose legacy continues through their families and communities.

A remodel has a lot of moving parts — and one of the biggest things clients appreciate is having a team that manages the process from start to finish.

At Broderick Dean Construction, we handle the scheduling, material ordering, deliveries, and coordination between contractors so our clients aren’t left trying to manage everything themselves.

Communication is also a huge part of how we operate. Every project includes a group text with the client for direct communication, along with access to BuildBook where clients can view daily logs, progress photos, and schedule updates throughout the project.

The goal is simple: keep the process organized, transparent, and as seamless as possible from beginning to end.

A fireplace mantel can completely change the look and functionality of a space, and Lexington Hearth offers some really impressive options.

Their non-combustible mantels are designed to give the appearance of real wood while allowing for more flexibility in fireplace design and installation. Because of the material they’re made from, they can often be installed lower on the fireplace without the same clearance limitations as traditional wood mantels.

That added flexibility creates more room for features like mounted TVs, artwork, and cleaner overall layouts while still bringing warmth and character to the space.

We love finding products that combine thoughtful design with practical application, and Lexington Hearth is a great example of that.

This Pinehurst remodel included updates to both the primary and secondary bathrooms, along with new flooring throughout the home, exterior painting, and several additional renovation projects.

From the beginning, the focus was creating spaces that felt cohesive, functional, and thoughtfully finished while keeping communication and project management a priority throughout the process.

We’re grateful to our clients for trusting us with their home and for taking the time to share their experience with our team!

“We hired Broderick Dean Construction after discovering our master bathtub was leaking. After meeting with several contractors in the area, we chose Broderick Dean because they provided a detailed, competitive proposal. They completed multiple renovations for us ahead of schedule, including our primary and secondary bathrooms, new flooring throughout the home, exterior painting, and a few other miscellaneous projects. My husband and I are extremely satisfied with the results!

Jordan served as our project manager and maintained excellent communication throughout the process. We received daily updates, along with frequent visits from Jordan or Julian to check on progress and ensure everything was on track. As with any home renovation, a few issues arose along the way, but they were handled immediately and professionally. Their trade workers were friendly, punctual, and kept the work areas clean.

Amanda met with me several times to help select tile, countertops, and other finishing touches. I truly could not have completed these projects without her creative design input and guidance.
