In the 13+ year's that I've been in this profession I've only ever heard of these "do it yourself" kits.. I've never actually seen or picked one up (not that I was looking)

I can however say from experience they DO NOT WORK.. I've done countless jobs over the year's where someone (whether a contractor or homeowner) have attempted to use one of these kits thinking it would work out.. It seems they will ALWAYS eventually start to chip and/or peel.. Obviously you get what you pay for with products like these.. Without any type of etching process, primer, or bonding agents, paints will NOT stick to certain surfaces like tubs or tile.. I've worked with epoxy paints in the past and can say there was alot of problems with them

When contemplating the reglazing process, always consult a professional who can provide you with the proper information about the process

After doing something for so long there usually comes a point when there's not much you haven't seen.... Today on the other hand was a different story.. Usually "clawfoot tubs" have feet... Never have I seen one with a base
