These are on a great sale right now!

This closet is super deep and was extremely overwhelming for this client. After a massive decluttering and new systems in place, she is loving it! It has been 6 months and it still looks the same!

Since she is farther away from me and I can’t get over to her very often, we used this linen closet to teach her how to declutter the Tidy Way! Now she can use her handouts and experience to tackle other spaces in her house!

The other day a client asked me...

"Do any of your other clients cry?"

I responded, "Of course! I have had a lot of cry sessions with clients! Decluttering can be a very emotional process."

She responded, "Okay good. I just went into my office to find a pair of scissors and knew exactly where they would be."

We had just gotten done organizing her office and creating a home for every item. She previously couldn't find anything in there, so kept on buying replacements. We got rid of about 10 pairs of scissors and now she can find her one! The best part of my job is seeing how much one simple system can change someone's life! I love receiving texts months later from clients saying how they have maintained their system and can easily find items and put them away.

This is a great example of how popular organizing tips—like the ones you see on TV or read in books—might not be the best solution for you. One client tried rotating her wardrobe seasonally by switching out summer and winter clothes. Over time, she forgot what she owned and ended up buying duplicates. She also found herself wanting to wear summer pieces in winter, and vice versa.

We gathered clothes from three separate closets and combined everything into one space. Now, she can see her entire wardrobe at once—making it easier to choose outfits, avoid unnecessary purchases, and actually enjoy what she already owns.

Just a friendly reminder: the best organizing system is the one that works for you, not necessarily the one that works for someone else.

I've spent a few weeks helping a client tackle a big photo project — we went from piles of pictures in large totes and random bins to beautifully organized photo boxes from Amazon 📦📸

Now everything is sorted, labeled, and easy to find. No more digging through buckets of prints just to find that one special photo. Feels so good to bring order to memories!

Did you know that some libraries take used books?

In Topeka, Shawnee County Library has a book shed where you can leave book donations. They then use these books for weekly book sales to raise money for the library!

All of these boxes were loaded up the other day and taken to the book shed! (This was only half of the books that were donated!)
