Gary's Farmstand TOO Gary's Farmstand Too was opened in 1986 by Chuck Wilkins. The Wilkins family owns farm stands along route 119 from Townsend to Littleton. Gary Sr.

Family owned and operated business since 1948. With nearly 70 years of experience in the agriculture and nursery business Gary Wilkins Sr. is an expert in knowing customer needs. and his son Chuck Wilkins opened their second store Gary's Farmstand Too in Townsend, Massachusetts in 1986 with the desire to bring high quality, fresh produce and vibrant flowers to their community. Chuck who has since taken over operations still emphasizes the same standard of quality is father once taught him.

Dear friends and loyal patrons, after nearly four decades of serving our community, I am happy to share some heartfelt news. As many of you know, Gary’s Farmstand Too has been in business since 1986 and has been a labor of love for me, Chuck Wilkins. Today, I’m happy to announce that I am passing the torch to the next generation of our family: my son, Dale Wilkins.

Dale will be taking the reins and continuing our family business as the 3rd generation. As I pass down the business and step back, I am grateful for the unwavering support you all have shown me over the years. I am proud to see Dale stepping into this role, carrying forward our family's legacy with passion and commitment to quality service. With your continued support, I have no doubt that Dale's Market will thrive and flourish.

With a heavy heart we say goodbye to the man who started it all-Gary Wilkins. In 1948 a little boy from Pepperell went to work on his family farm. That same boy spent the next 75 years working tirelessly to master and preserve the skill of farming. For him it was a passion, and his love language to the community he served and that allowed his business to flourish, Gary's Farmstand. He was wildly proud of what he did, his children who followed in his footsteps and the legacy of handwork and compassion he strived to leave behind.
On Tuesday, after 4 days surrounded by a packed room of family members who refused to leave his side, he left this world and was reunited in heaven with his son Dale Wilkins (Dales Market), and wife Barbara (Barbs Homemade pies).
He will be missed terribly, but we are so grateful for the legacy he left. As we pick up the torch we do so with his mission buried in our hearts down here on earth. This earth to which he harrowed, harvested, and loved so deeply.
