π₯ NOT ALL FIREWOOD IS CREATED EQUAL! π₯
Ever wonder why some firewood burns hot and clean while other wood struggles to stay lit, smokes like crazy, or leaves your fireplace full of creosote?
π³ The difference can come down to moisture.
Traditional firewood may be advertised as βseasoned,β but moisture levels can vary significantly depending on how long it has been stored, how it was stored, and the type of wood.
π₯ Thatβs where kiln-dried firewood makes a difference.
At A-1 Tree & Mulch, we kiln-dry our hardwood firewood to produce a more consistent, ready-to-burn product.
π₯ Hotter, more efficient fires β More of the wood's energy goes toward producing heat.
π¨ Less smoke β Properly dried firewood generally burns cleaner than wet or poorly seasoned wood.
πͺ΅ Easier to light β No fighting with damp wood that refuses to catch.
β
Lower moisture β Less energy is wasted boiling water out of the wood.
π Great for fireplaces & wood-fired ovens β Consistent, quality hardwood makes a difference whether you're heating your home or cooking a great meal.
π³ And the wood matters, too!
Our kiln-dried hardwood firewood can include Oak, Maple, Cherry, Locust, Hickory, and more β giving you quality wood that's ready to burn.
Think of the kiln-dried wood option as being like 93-octane fuel for your fireplace or wood brick oven.
Not all of our wood will be kiln-dried; we will always be offering air-dried wood. The kiln-dried is just a different product line.
We will also continue our softwood mix. This is great for outdoor firepits and bonfires.
π₯ Choose quality. Choose consistency. Choose A-1 Tree & Mulch.
