S.L.O.W.I.N.G. D.O.W.N.

The first two weeks of August were exhausting for me. Between prepping for an out of town market, traveling across the coast for work, and then participating in said market, it was a lot. It required me to take a look at what I've been doing and see if I can do it differently. Change the model, shift perspectives.

I wanted to sell in person first and foremost. To sell local. I still do. But I also want to cultivate an online platform and online purchase options as well. I understand that it's hard to buy for a space when you're not anticipating it and I want to provide the opportunity to think and plan your purchase as well.

Good things coming as we wind down into fall! Stay tuned.

Summer has been humming away and I can't believe it's already nearly the end of July! I've been trying some new things lately. These larger pieces are still very much so out of my comfort zone - exercising my process and confronting a lot of self doubt - so it's unbelievably gratifying to see the end result. Happy Sunday ☀️

Made this one with the Frankfort art show in mind. Rust cord with beautiful sea-colored agate beads and some tung stained wood beads. One of my favorites to date!

Color x Pattern ✨

Obsessing over these colors and the concept of jungalow decor at the moment. I've always been one to tone down in the event that everything doesn't match or "go together" and jungalow style seems to give permission to bold and patterned balanced with neutrals and greenery and I LOVE it!

A majority of my cascading plants are grown in jars of water, making it easy work to keep them hydrated and happy! Unfortunately, this means I have a poor selection of potted plants to showcase these delightful little plant hangers.

Loving this burnt red cord!

Savoring the last of the cozy cold weather to embrace multiple avenues to grow this hobby into a business. I'm finding myself wavering between the excitement of spring and summer and the comfort of winter, much like the season itself this time of year!
