We lost both of our 100' hoop houses this week. Both are a total loss. We'll recover, but a big punch to the gut. Thanks to all those that have called or texted. I appreciate you. A special thanks to Cedar Handy Man and Plowing for pulling my truck out and plowing my entrance. There are a lot of good people out there willing to help when you need it.

I'm often asked about purchasing smaller, grow out sized shrubs and trees in large quantities. Most folks want them for wind breaks or naturalizing their property. I've compiled a long list of shrubs and trees I'll have available in the spring. This will be a preorder sale only! Most are familiar with seedling sized plants. What I'm offering are larger, better rooted specimens for direct planting or for grow out in pots.

If this interests you, drop me a note at [email protected] and I'll forward the list to you.

Merry Christmas to All!

Water your Evergreens Now!!

Whenever I sell evergreens to a customer, I recommend deep watering them going into winter - especially when we have a dry fall. These are the exact conditions I'm describing! I know your hoses are put away and the irrigation system is drained. Grab a 5 gallon bucket and give them a good drink. Really, it's a good idea for all your shrubs. The rain we've had this fall has been sporadic and very light. Your evergreens will thank you in the spring with no or reduced browning and/or needle die back.
