Hi all!! 👋🏼 It's been a minute! Finally had some time to refinish this now-beautiful solid wood, six drawer dresser!! Also added brand new hardware. 🤩

Sanded down to natural wood. Stained the top, base & drawers with Minwax white wash to the natural wood grain; linen-colored Country Chic chalk paint to sides & face of dresser. 🖌️🫟

Very neutral piece to go with a variety of home styles & decor - giving P o t t e r y B a r n/

Finally found a place, Fremer Lumber & Molding in Brockway, that could cut me a single board 7ft long for my bench! 🪵 Picked it up today, sanded it to a buttery-smooth finish & installed the industrial matte black legs I had bought. I loved the natural color of the red oak wood so much, I decided not to stain it. Instead, put a coat of clear matte poly protectant. What do you think of my new entry way & bench now that it's finished?? ☺️ Thinking about getting some baskets for under the bench 🧺 & maybe a tall, skinny plant for the corner behind the door...?

Front entryway reDesign!! 🤩 Love the moody sage/brown color in this entryway, but it needed brightened up a bit. Added some board & batten 3/4 up the walls, picture ledge, primer, creamy-white paint, industrial matte black hooks & wall light scones, a new rug, etc. Going to make a long bench to replace the existing one. Already purchased the matte black bench legs, but having a hard time finding a 3" thick x 12" wide x 7' long solid board... 🤔 Tried Lowe's & Kosko wood with no luck... anyone have recommendations?? 🤪

One of my favorite reFinishing projects to date! Not just because they turned out so beautiful 🤩 , but because they have sentimental value too!! This sweet client said they were her dad's dressers from when he was a child 🥰

The process:
🔘 Sanded entire piece to bare wood & deep cleaned
🔘 2 coats primer before painting
🔘 2 coats Country Chic "Crinoline" paint
🔘 1 thin coat white minwax stain to wood (whitewashing helps prevent the warm red/orange tones from coming through)
🔘 1 coat weathered wood stain
🔘 1 coat clear matte polycrylic to entire piece
🔘 Installed new matte black k***s & ring pulls

So happy with how these turned out!! 😍

This dresser had heavy wear & damage! My most recent labor of love! 🤩💙

💠 Sanded & deep cleaned entire piece
💠 Painted with 2 coats Country Chic paint in "Peacoat" navy blue
💠 1 coat Polycrylic clear matte protectant
💠 Cleaned & spray painted drawer pulls with Rust-oleum metallics in "Champagne Mist" gold

A lot of time went into reDesigning & reFinishing this very loved, adorable tall hallway storage bench and I couldn't be happier with the finished product!! 🤩 The client wanted it finished in similar fashion to how I refinished a dresser set for her last summer (last 2 pictures).

✴️Started by removing the old mirror & installing heavy-duty luan in its place
✴️ Removed bench seat, spindles, armrests & hardware
✴️ Sanded & cleaned entire piece
✴️ 3 coats Country Chic 'Crinoline" paint
✴️ 2 coats Minwax wood stain
✴️ 1 coat Polycrylic clear matte protectant
✴️ Reglued & reassembled entire piece
✴️ Installed new cross board & matte black hooks for hanging

Having a small master bathroom with a traditional door that swings inward, just takes up too much space & makes it almost impossible for 2 people to get ready at the same time! 👎🏼

Solution: plane down a beautiful old door & hang it on a barn door track!! But be sure to find the wall studs to anchor it into though, because THE DOOR IS HEAVY!! Loooooving this look 😍 & the space it frees up in the bathroom!!

Just refinished this adorable shelf for a good friend!!! 🤩 Was originally white with gold detailing & gave it a bit of a more modern update:

🔘 Deep cleaning & Bullseye 321 Primer
🔘 2 coats for Country Chic "Tea Party" paint
🔘 1 coat Minwax Polycrylic clear matte finish protectant
🔘 Stain & install new wooden bottom shelf
🔘 Hand painted small detail lines & filigree in tan matte finish
