One deterrent installed , about 4 to go. Getting most of it today. I also placed 2 of the solar scare ‘thingies’. One right where the owl grabbed Ruby and one in an open chicken run. Most of my runs are covered. This one needs to get covered this spring. I used to have it covered, but birds were getting stuck in it and dying so I got rid of it. So now I need a new method of covering it soon.

Took some time today to dry some oregano. I have a couple different varieties in here and I’m just mixing them together just because there’s just so much. I have the spicy one that I honestly don’t think it tastes that different. And then there’s a picture of a few that had roots that I had pulled up, which is good because I need to transplant some back near the Chicken yard because it’s so good for my chickens. It’s good for deworming and antibiotic and antiviral, etc. etc. I might make some more oregano oil inside for us. So I just laid on the screen door and I washed it because some of it had quite a bit of dirt on it. So tomorrow I’ll throw it in that drying rack pictured in comments. And in my video. I’ll get a lot of that stuff that’s ready to be moved. I will jar up quite a bit. If you’re interested in purchasing any, I have a spice jar available for five dollars and oh my gosh it’s absolutely nothing at all like store-bought. Let me just tell you. You open it up and it just takes you somewhere really special with cooking lol.

Happy happy Spring that feels like Summer already. I couldn’t be happier. Getting things done at home and most of my clients are already caught up.

On that note, I have some free time if someone needs a Spring cleanup and/or entire makeover.

It’s just Matthew and me for 5 more weeks and I may have some short days because of my knee. But we’re caught up right now which has never happened!! We started a month early because of this AMAZING weather. 🌻🌺🪻🦋

Good morning friends!! My awesome friend Heather Baker Harphant is doing a fundraiser for me to help cover the cost of all this feed I must buy. If you don’t know, I take in roughly 75 ducklings /ducklings annually and many chickens in need of rescue. With 175 combo, it costs me anywhere from $350-800 a month.

Please consider supporting Heather in her business while assisting me feeding all these hungry birds.

As always , I appreciate you !! ❤️🦆🐓

I’ll help you find your new favorite things as you explore the shoppable online catalog. With so many items I can’t live without, Scentsy is sure to fill your life with fragrance. Let me know if you have any questions!

I’m looking to pick up some food scraps from a local restaurant. Anyone around here work at one where I can swing by and pick up a bag or more of food thrown out? I have pigs, chickens and ducks AND I compost. So it would go to super good use

As if we need more stress with inflation and everything else, the wildfires from Canada will affect our gardens meaning there will be a shortage and inevitably a price increase.

Apparently the smoke and haze we see is blocking the sun enough to slow down growth and it’ll be around all summer. Yippee.

May be a good time to plant greens and other veggies that grow with little sun.

We can only hope it’ll cool us off this summer but after today I’m gonna predict that’s a big no.

A few bits of news that will guaranteed affect your garden. Listen up, prepare now, and grow bigger!

Thank you all for your continued support in the community. We won’t be at Aimee's Produce next Saturday because we will be at the Lebanon Garden tour which is a huge tradition for my family. Priorities 😊😂

However, I still have about 40 tomato plants ready to gravy your Summer cookouts with juicy fresh tomatoes, and many herbs and other vegetable plants. I’m starting some Rosemary and cabbage plants upon request and will have them available in 2 weeks. Please let me know if you have requests. And most importantly I will continue to have lots of eggs the next 2 weeks so text me if you want to meet or stop by. I’ll have lots of garlic scapes for the next couple weeks also. I am going to dehydrate and make into a scape powder and make more garlic scape hummus and of course just add to all of my meals for a delicious garlic taste. If you know how to use them, you realize what a delicacy they truly are. 🧄 In a couple weeks I’ll have hundreds of garlic heads available at Aimee’s.

Enjoy the rest of Spring and I’ll see you all back at Aimee’s in July ❤️🍎🍆🍉🥗
