Did you know that String of Pearls are dormant during the Summer and grow during the Winter?

This is because they are Native to the Southern Hemisphere which has opposite seasons! This is why your String of Pearls, Aloe and a lot of your tropical house plants bloom in November and December!

This year, the Altman Specialty Plants Troup location in collaboration with Children’s Christmas Tree out of Jacksonville, Tx held our very first annual Christmas toy drive to help make Christmas just a tad brighter for the children of East Tx and it was incredibly successful! There is so much love in this community! Special thanks going out to all of our Altman Troup Elves!! You guys along with so many others made all of this possible and we are positive you will make it on Santa’s nice list this year 🎅🏽🎄
