They say when one door closes, another door opens…

With the recent downsizing and in the best interest of our business, we have made the decision to close our booth space at Midwest.

This chapter has been filled with wonderful customers, friendships, and support, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you who shopped with us along the way. ❤️

But don’t worry—this isn’t goodbye. Stay tuned… we have some exciting things in the works and can’t wait to share what’s next!

We’ve been working on a little edition to The Arbogast Collective, inspired by our new tiny grand guys.

Introducing “Baby Bo” - a curated collection of trendy, preloved baby boy clothing (& some for the little gals we couldn’t resist)! Finding cute boys’ clothes can feel like a treasure hunt—so we’ve made it a little easier with a few special pieces tucked into our space.

“Bo” is a nod to the Arbogast patriarchy from his college days—a name rooted in memories we’re honored to carry forward.

In business, they say to focus on what you love—and for me, baking and cooking is just one of those things. It seems to run in the family, as I’ve been told I get it from my paternal grandmother, Mildred (or Midge, as everyone called her). Though she passed away when I was just 3, I feel connected to her through the stories my family has shared over the years.

It only seemed fitting to name my sourdough starter after her. Midge has been with me for a few years now, and I’ve loved the process of perfecting each loaf. Now, I’m excited to share a little piece of her with you.

You can grab your own envelope of dehydrated Midge starter at one of our markets this spring, or DM me to have one shipped to you. Each envelope comes with an instruction card to help you rehydrate it and begin your own sourdough journey.

We’ll also have Le Parfait locking lid jars available—perfect for storing your starter. Here’s to baking memories, one loaf at a time. 🥖❤️
