Each new project has a multitude of factors that we absorb and refine to reveal the pure design solution that will satisfy that goal. These factors define the function of
the design. They are generated by client, economic, construction and regional specifications and include views, passive solar collection, snow shed properties, domestic function, budget and style. Derived from the function, we create balanced compositions of relative forms with refined detail. In addition to its apparent, experiential function, a building should have inherent function. It should sustain its own existence environmentally and economically. It should provide innovation toward a balance with nature and the reduction of operating costs
