I recently purchased a new BHI mini split air conditioner and heating unit for $670 for my wood shop, and I'm hoping it will justify the cost. In an effort to save money, I opted to forgo hiring a professional to vacuum the lines and add refrigerant, instead choosing to learn the process myself. However, I would strongly advise against this approach and recommend hiring a skilled tradesperson for this specific task, as it proves to be more complex than it appears in online tutorials.
