This Saturday morning we will be back at the Foothills Community Market, we’re setup right in the barens n noble parking lot at the foothills mall. Come get some food drinks and browse our selection of amazing vendors. I’ll be bringing lots of carnivorous plants and a couple isopod cultures!

Saturday night is Adrian & Erika’s Circus Party! Celebrate the night with Music Vendors Food and of course drinks in the bar! Costumes are encouraged~
Anyone can come, no invite needed. I’ll be bringing some plants to try to sell, stop by !

Sunday is for my Phoenix peeps, I’ll be at A Community Affair Farmers Market in Surprise AZ! If you have a plant that needs to be repotted or just want a new addition come say hi! We are on our new summer hours now, the market will be from 7am-12pm to try and beat the heat. This market is super dog friendly so bring your pup!

Pinguicula Johanna

The color on this gorgeous butterwort is almost unreal, so happy to have it in my collection! I can’t wait to see a flower, it has yet to bloom for me but hopefully soon.

Drosera Aliciae

This pretty little plant likes to die back after blooming, she literally had just recovered from last year.. but imma let her do it again 😂 at least I got a pretty little picture and get to enjoy in it in meantime!

This weekend will be fun, Saturday is the Desert Frog Swap 10am-4pm at the Double Tree by Hilton 445 S. Alvernon Way. Join lots of local reptile enthusiasts as we sell/trade/share knowledge. I’ll be bringing some baby jumping spiders, isopods and of could tons of Carnivorous Plants!

Sunday is for my Phoenix peeps I’ll be in Surprise AZ from 9am-2pm for my monthly market. Come check out a sneak peek of what I’ll be brining to the Home & Flower Show next weekend, stop by my booth for $5 off your show tickets!

We are almost a week away from the Maricopa Home & Flower Show, join us May 1st-2nd-3rd WestWorld of Scottsdale!! We will be open from 10am-5pm every day. Come check out the Plant Pavilion with 20+ Planty Vendors.

I will be bringing I wide variety of Carnivorous Plants including Drosera(sundew), Pinguicula(butterwort), Nepenthes(tropical pitcher plants), Sarracenia(North American pitcher plants), Dionea Muscipula(venus flytraps) and more?!? This is going to be a great show. As always each plant will be sent home with detailed care guides to help you and your new plant succeed~

All three days of this event I will be hosting a Terrarium Build, I will go into detail about each layer of the terrarium along with their purpose. At the end of each seminar each day, a lucky winner from the audience will receive the exact build I created on stage!! The Build will be at 3:30 pm and should last till 4:15. That means a daily giveaway from yours truly, valued at at least $100 each. It’s worth attending all three days just for my event, each day will have a different theme so if you have to pick just one, here is the schedule.

Friday will be a “Pingdom” Build focused mainly on the butterwort aka Pinguicula. This beautiful carnivorous plant has the ability to grow off the side of a porous rock, so this build will have a large rock as the centerpiece. With moss and a carnivorous root system called Ulrtitca.

Saturday I’ll be creating a “Mini Ecosystem” I will focus on making the perfect environment for natures cleanup crew. Isopods and springtales will be added to a terrarium, these cool little bugs will eat any mold or dead leaves that form in the setup. No carnivorous plants in this build, the bugs are the main focus!

Sunday is the “Carnivorous Plant Terrarium”
This build will have multiple different types of carnivorous plants such as a Venus flytrap sarracenia and Pinguicula but will mainly focused on my favorite carnivore, Drosera.

I have a couple baby jumping spiders and lots of Isopods(Rollie pollie/pillbugs) looking for their new homes as well.

Drosera Grantsaui

This little cutie seems to do best when just leave it alone, every time I move it, flush it, touch it, the plant dies off and starts all over again. I was lucky this last time it decided to be dramatic it actually cloned itself so now I have two sweet plants.

With very tiny dewdrops compared to other species, they will usually only hunt gnats in my collection 😅
