Does pool season end on Labor Day in Arizona? Nope. Not even a little.

Everywhere else, today's the day the cover goes on. Here it's a Monday off with perfect water and nowhere to be. Somewhere around 2 p.m. somebody's going to say ""too hot to grill,"" and somebody else is getting in the pool with a plate, and that'll be that.

Is swimming actually good exercise? It's one of the few full-body workouts with basically zero impact on your joints, which is why it's the one people stick with.

Twenty easy minutes does more for you than most things you'd do on pavement, and it's a lot kinder to your knees.
