The client purchased these large-format tiles from Floor and Decor. Because they are quite substantial, we went with the 'buttering' method, ensuring each tile got a generous coating of thin-set on the back. It takes a little extra time, but it guarantees they’re secure and bonded to the wall. Along with the integrated soap niche, these two elements help to create a modern look - it’s really shaping up beautifully!

Hello Friends and Happy New Year!
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what we've been up to on the shower remodel project.
Our client wanted to swap out her three-handle shower valve for a new single-handle setup. This style of faucet is user friendly and can make temperature control easier.
Next up was getting the walls prepped for tiling by installing the backer board. This special moisture-resistant material is an absolute must because it gives the upcoming tile work a solid and reliable surface to adhere to.

We successfully tackled the initial part of the project, which involved removing all the existing tiles from the shower.
With demo day complete, it’s time to begin the next phase, plumbing.
