It’s Salvage Saturday! Which means it’s time to show some of our recent additions to the salvage yard! Lots of really beautiful light fixtures! Brass wall sconces with egg lights, porcelain sconces, a mill glass light, and a ceramic ceiling fixture that made its way from England!

In addition we got in a really cool set of brass andirons for a fireplace, and 3 of these decorative cast iron metal pieces.

Today’s a great day to take a stroll through the salvage yard! Open 12-4PM, we hope to see you there!

Have you ever noticed the main countertop on our paint bar? It’s made from Suberra Cork, a countertop surface created from post-industrial recycled cork!

Cork might not be the first material that comes to mind when thinking about countertops, but this material has completely won us over! Suberra is made from recycled cork bark harvested in Portugal, where cork oak trees are carefully protected and can only be harvested once every nine years. The bark is first used by the wine industry for bottle stoppers, then the remaining material is transformed into ultra high-density building materials like this countertop.
Not only is it lightweight, durable, and naturally anti-bacterial, but it also has a warm, soft feel that makes it really unique compared to stone or other hard surfaces. Ours gets constant daily use at the paint bar and has absolutely proven itself over time.

Available in both Natural and Chocolate tones, Suberra is a great option for kitchens, bathrooms, workspaces, and anywhere you want a surface with a little more warmth and character!

This beautiful custom home in Dove Mountain features on the walls and ceilings throughout, creating a soft, seamless warmth in every space. Finished in Porcelina, American Clay’s smoothest plaster texture, the surfaces have an almost velvety feel with subtle movement, gentle depth, and a softness that paint just can’t replicate. The color is Sugarloaf, American Clay’s brightest white in their original collection. A beautifully balanced white that feels warm, earthy, and calm without ever feeling stark.

There’s something special about a finish that changes with the light throughout the day, adding quiet texture and character while still feeling minimal and refined. Natural materials at their best!

So many people shy away from materials that need a little upkeep, but sometimes that maintenance is as simple as a quick DIY once or twice a year. This countertop was refinished by sanding and sealing with Bioshield Herbal Oil, a plant based oil that actually hydrates the material (unlike petroleum based mineral oils that just sit on the surface). Bioshield soaks in to nourish and protect, helping extend the life of the countertop naturally.

There’s something really satisfying about materials that can be renewed instead of replaced. A little maintenance can go a long way toward creating a healthier, longer lasting space.

Swipe for before and some process pictures! This countertop is in Richlite’s color Cabernet.

Firehouse Red with Patina may be a discontinued color, but it’s still one of our all time favorites! Made with recycled glass from traffic lights, warning beacons, runway light covers, and even jet wing tip covers, this countertop is packed with history and personality. The deep red tones and rich patina make such a bold statement in this kitchen. And did you catch the bathroom vanity? It was fabricated from the kitchen sink cutout. We always love seeing creative craftsmanship like this that makes the most out of every piece of material.

If you love this look, Vetrazzo now offers newer options with a similar feel including Ruby Red with Patina, as well as a brighter Ruby Red set in a crisp white background. A fresh take on the same vibrant character. We have samples available in the showroom if you’re looking for ideas for your next colorful project!

Acoustical Surface products are one of those design details that can completely change how a space feels. From small office spaces like to larger event venues like the space, sound dampening helps reduce echo, soften background noise, and create a more comfortable environment for everyone inside.

We love the flexibility of their installation options too. Wall mounted panels can add texture and visual interest while improving acoustics, and suspended ceiling panels help absorb sound in larger open spaces while adding some playful movement.

Many of their products are made from recycled and natural materials like recycled cotton and post consumer recycled cellulose fibers, making them a thoughtful option for projects focused on both performance and sustainability. If you’re looking to make your next project quieter, calmer, and more comfortable, we’d love to help you find the right acoustical solution for your space!

Happy Salvage Saturday! We love seeing people get creative with salvaged materials and sharing ideas for inspiration. Of course brought the perfect desert flair! Their front counter was made using salvaged Saltillo tiles, originally 12”x12” and cut down to 4”x4” for this custom look. The natural clay tones and handmade feel fit their desert florist aesthetic so perfectly and prove that salvaged materials can become something completely fresh and unexpected.

Three clawfoot tubs just landed in the salvage yard and each one has its own personality.

The first one is the full package with the original hardware and oval shower curtain rod, all in really beautiful condition and ready for its next home!

The other two may need a little TLC, but that’s part of the fun. Whether you’re dreaming up a bold bathroom remodel, a garden feature, or a creative restoration project, these tubs are full of possibility. The second tub is a rare, smaller sizes at 48”, making it a great option for spaces where a standard clawfoot tub just won’t fit.

Come wander the salvage yard this weekend and see which one speaks to you before they’re gone!

This home is a beautiful example of thoughtful material choices from floor to ceiling, every finish working together to create a space that feels intentional.

Walls finished in Enjarre bring the soft movement we love. Each space shifts subtly with the light, creating a layered, lived-in feel that paint alone just can’t replicate. The hallway and living room were finished with Cayuga Blue accented with Joshua Tree, and then the main bedroom was done is Garden of the Gods.

In the kids’ rooms, mineral paint in custom colors adds a playful but grounded touch, while clay paint in Mont Blanc softens soffits and ceilings.

Underfoot, concrete floors finished with SoyCrete in Maple bring a warm, earthy tone that ties everything together.

Throughout the home, salvaged doors, hardware, and a sweet bathroom sink introduce a sense of individuality, pieces that feel collected over time and give the space a little extra charm.

This lovely contemporary home got a dose of swoon worthy bamboo floors! From their Amber Edge Grain bamboo was installed throughout the entire first floor. The clean, linear grain keeps everything feeling crisp and modern, while that warm amber tone makes sure the space doesn’t feel too serious.

Bamboo is basically made for contemporary design. Its uniform texture and subtle movement complement minimalist spaces without feeling flat, while the durability and sustainability make it as practical as it is beautiful!
