Working with Walker Macy and Atlin Investments Inc., Johnson Braund Inc. is excited to be part of the awarded team reimagining the Port of Astoria Waterfront Master Plan. With an intent of keeping the waterfront a support for the current industries, Johnson Braund Inc. has begun to study how to bring the architecture of two hotels, public market, retail and restaurants, and a cruise ship service building to the Port with a design language that blends new development with the current industrial vernacular. When completed, the new waterfront will host a new type of travel destination that takes advantage of Astoria's magnificent setting.
The project is in its early concepts stages with a possible construction start still a couple of years out.

Even in the rain, we thoroughly enjoyed our building tour of our completed mixed-use project on Roy Street in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle.

It is always exciting to see a concept turn into reality! This 210,500 square foot project was 7 years in the making and consists of 167 residential units, commercial space on the ground floor, and two levels of below-grade parking.

Take a look at some of these detail shots, showing a graceful blend of materials, texture, and scale. The 110 Roy Apartments have an amazing view of the space needing and downtown; we could curl-up and just stare out this window all day!

Over 20 years ago, Ivana came to Johnson Braund with a unique set of skills gained from working at Marriott International. Since then, she has been an integral part of developing the processes and knowledge base that we use today to successfully complete hundreds of hotel renovation projects across the country. Her steadfast excellence and mentoring talents have made her a joy to work with.
