One project down, approximately 100 to go. 😂
Our 1937 sunroom needs a LOT of love, but we’re starting with the easy upgrades! We
partnered with Hunter Fan Company to install their Gilmour Outdoor ceiling fan, and my husband
actually said it was EASY to install. A statement I don’t think I’ve ever heard him make. 😂
Now we have a beautiful new fan with powerful airflow and a quiet motor while we tackle the
rest of this renovation!

Someone covered up THIS gorgeous 1937 tile?! A crime against historic homes! 😭 I uncovered the original yellow and green bathroom tile hiding beneath layers of questionable renovations, and now I’m determined to save it!

Anyone know the best way to remove paint from vintage ceramic tile?

This bathroom was literally minutes away from being demoed. And then I got curious and wanted to see what was under these tiles. As it turns out, it’s the original tiles and they look like they’re in pretty good condition. I’m not sure if we’ll be able to keep them, but I’m gonna try. Really it depends on what their condition is overall and if our plumbers can replumb this bathroom from underneath without disturbing the tile. Fingers crossed.
