Had a service call with the complaint that the compressor wasn't coming on. Upon inspection we found it had shorted out and blew off one of the harness pins and leaked all the refrigerant out, the only option was to replace the unit. We replaced it with an Amana 80% furnace and 15 Seer AC with a lifetime warranty, we also replaced the copper lineset because the previous installers left a 50 foot line set and had it just laying on the ground when the space only needed 18 feet, we also replaced the drain line because it ran up hill then downhill then up again, we replaced the whip to the disconnect and the communication wire out to the condenser, along with the return air plenum, and the ¾ plywood underneath the unit and added a 4 inch insulated sheet metal riser in place of the 2x4's that the unit was sitting on. Overall the customer is ecstatic with the new system. Call us for any of your heat and air needs

Pulled us some more AC made carpet off an evaporator coil today. Filters were kept up with, the filter grille was installed improperly letting hair and debris bypass the filter. Forgot to take after pictures but the coil is all cleaned up and it's back to cooling like new. Give us a call for your maintenance needs

We signed a maintenance agreement with a property manager who manages 11 rental houses. First preventative maintenance on this duplex I found the front of the return plenum open and unsealed. Tenants kept up with the filter changes but it didn't make a difference while the return air plenum was unsealed. The last servicing company missed this on both sides of the duplex, luckily it was. Been telling this commercial customer since last August they really need filters changed and coils cleaned. The pushed it off until 7 of their 16 units quit on them. Guys, filter changed and coil cleanings are very important, don't wait until you have a catastrophic failure to perform your maintenance. Luckily they didn't wait untill major parts went out. Well the start of this worlds deadliest apocalypse my fan blower control board decided to go out. Luckily earlier this summer I had a scare that it went out and bought a replacement board that I never replaced. This furnace is older than I am and I'm keeping it alive. Yesterday we went to give an estimate to a customer on a minisplit install. When we went outside to look at the location for the condenser we took notice of the main house condenser being completely filled with grass and if course we forgot to take before and after pictures, but trust us it was bad. We cleaned the condenser coils to like new. The customer took us to the attic to look at a couple supply lines to delete for the minisplit to take care of, when we got up there we noticed this monstrosity, alot of the air was leaking into the attic instead of cooling the house. Thankfully we took notice immediately and showed the customer how big of a gap there was in the supply air taps and they agreed something had to be done immediately. We came tonight and tore out the old plenum and taps and installed a brand new plenum with brand new taps and insulated and taped up all loose lines. Very happy with the outcome, and now the customer is getting all their air in their house where it belongs. Give us a call for any of you heat and air concerns or needs.
