Just finished up with these three cute puppies! They were my first whole-body 8x10s! A bit more of a challenge, but so much fun to do! I love seeing the client’s reaction when they get their first look at them, it’s my favorite part 💛🥲

My first commissioned paintings ✨

Originally I was only going to paint Chica, but the client found out her grandmother had lost her dog Gunnar, so she wanted to do something special to remember him by. 🥲

I was a bit intimidated at the thought of trying to paint that bandana, but it was honestly a blast! 💛

The portrait that started it all ✨

Some dear friends from church lost their pet earlier this year. I read their posts on Facebook and wished there was something I could do for them. I wondered if I could make a decent painting of their doggie for them to remember him by. I felt nervous about it, but also, zero pressure. If it didn’t turn out, no big deal, no one would know 😅.

I never imagined how much I would enjoy painting Judah! The best part was sharing the painting with his family. What a joy! I have since tried my hand at painting several more doggies, a couple of cats, and even a cow( I am currently working on my first turtle 💚)!

I can’t wait to share more paintings with you! If you would like to commission a painting, shoot me a message and we can discuss details! I would love to capture your memories! ✨
