A little entryway secret…

A covered tureen isn’t just pretty — it’s also the perfect place to tuck away keys, sunglasses, dog leashes, or all those little things that can make an entry table feel cluttered.

I love using beautiful old pieces in practical ways. Pretty storage is always my favorite kind.

This tureen is available if you need a pretty little hiding place of your own.

A rare survivor from England’s dairy heritage. 🐄🌿
This antique English ceramic CREAM pail dates to the early 1900s and would have originally served as a display piece in the window of a dairy shop. Made in limited numbers, these large advertising pails helped promote the fresh cream and dairy products arriving daily from the English countryside into London.
The colorful pastoral scene of grazing cattle is attributed to artist J.C. Van Hunnick and is framed by a charming border of pink, lavender, blue, and yellow flowers. Deep blue Gothic lettering spells CREAM across the front, while the beautifully molded side handles and textured earthenware body add even more character and charm.
Pieces like this were designed to catch the eye of passersby more than a century ago—and today they make wonderful statement pieces for a cottage kitchen, pantry, or collection of English advertising ware.

Timeless charm, layered in pattern and color 🌿
This beautiful Spode Wicker Weave border set—with its soft green border and delicate blue and pink roses—pairs effortlessly with classic blue transferware and rich green majolica. It’s all in the mix: plaid, gingham, florals, and ikat, coming together in a way that just works.
Proof that when patterns share a palette, they tell one cohesive, collected story 💙💚

A quiet Sunday spent cleaning the hutch and finding just the right spot for a few new-to-me pieces of transferware among the majolica. Hop into my stories to see the sweetest hand painted trinket box I found. I think the best collections are the ones that grow over time, filled with pieces that make a house feel like home.

A little piece of Wedgwood history. 🌿
This vintage Wedgwood plate and matching pitcher are decorated with the elegant Corinthian shape, distinguished by its richly embossed border inspired by classical architectural ornament. The Corinthian line was patented in the United States and became one of Wedgwood’s most beloved embossed designs during the mid-20th century.
Finished in a soft celadon green and adorned with delicate blue and violet florals, it captures the timeless charm of an English country house—equally lovely displayed on a wall, tucked into a cupboard, or as part of a vignette.
A lovely reminder that everyday dishes can be works of art.
