Wonderful morning to plant a few more seedlings so that Mother Nature can do the watering. Bachelor Buttons, 4 o'clocks, and petunias are filling spots where tulips once blossomed. I also put three cucumber seedlings in pots just outside the kitchen door. Love the opportunity I have here at the Village Farm Gardeners Center to express myself with the beauty of nature. Now for that warming cup of coffee. Hope you enjoy this day.

We are getting ready foe the Turner Maine Farmer's Market tomorrow 4 to 6 pm. Special perennial of the week will be a 1 qt maiden pink (Dianthius deltoides) for $7 or 3 for $15. This perennial will add a splash of color wherever it is planted

Yikes! Disappointed to wake up to a frost this morning. Watching weatherman and he says it will be a "pretty decent day". Village Farm Gardeners Center will be open 9:00 A M to 3:00 P M. Mother's Day is tomorrow and we have so many gift ideas. Please visit and pick up cut flowers, house plants, and Tussie-Mussies created from our dried straw flowers. We also have hangers, veggie and flower seedlings. Buy locally grown to reduce carbon footprint.

Working in my flowerbeds today i was happy to feel such warm earth--perfect.to promote growing. The expected gift of rain will lighten the evening watering. Tomorrow and Sunday we will be open 9 to 4. We have a good assortment of veg and flower seedlings. We also have strawberry plants, raspberry bushes, lilac bushes, and rhubarb plants. Time to get out there and grow some food and flowers. Visit us at 37 Buckfield Rd, Turner.
