My Story

I grew up on a farm near Estelline, South Dakota, learning about cooking from the women in my life. More than they realize! In my teen years I began enjoying cooking shows, such as Chopped, Farmhouse Rules, and my favorite Pioneer Woman. What I didn’t learn from the women in my life, I learned from the chefs of the Cooking Channel. In 2012 I married my husband Earl, the grandson of a well known rancher from Kadoka, SD. We have moved a few times in the last 6 years working for different farms and ranches. We have settled on Fanning Angus Ranch less than 2 miles from the unincorporated town of Vetal, SD. Over the last 6 years I have learned even more about cooking from my husband’s family, and the ranching community of West River SD. In 2015 we found out we were expecting our 1st child, and I knew I wanted to do everything I could to be a stay at home mom until all of the children God blesses my with are in school. My sister Robyn, told me about how much fun she had being a Pampered Chef Consultant, about the amazing benefits such as working from home, setting my own hours, and best of all meeting new people! I jumped on the chance!!! The last few years I have made an income to help my family, and now we are expecting our 2nd child in June 2018. I have decided to step up my game and do like other entrepreneurs and make a name for myself. Starting today 2/5/18 I will be sharing a weekly blog, going live, and sharing my favorite recipes, cooking tips and maybe some new ideas. Once per month there will be a Fundraiser, with me donating my commission towards an Organization picked by all of you! My page and business is centered around Faith, Family, and Food. I would encourage you to share your own recipes and tips, and tune in as there may be some Giveaways here and there!
