It might not look like much, but sometimes a lot of work can go into one room. This sun room had some tree roots growing under it and throughout the years caused A LOT of cracks. Some wall repair, tape, texture, and paint (Dunn Edwards Warm White) and it's good to go.

As some of you have heard our main paint supplier here in the Sierras, Kelly Moore, have closed all its stores. I feel for the employees I've come to know pretty well over the years and hope the transition is as easy as possible for them.

Cabinets just might take the most abuse of any interior surface and can be very tedious to paint, even for the professionals. But they're a great fall project for when the days aren't as long, things start to slow down, and quality can't be rushed. Always a small pleasure taking white cabinets to literally any other color, this time it was "Medicine Wheel."

The paint in the eaves of this Tuolumne home were in such bad shape you could rub your hand across and it would turn to powder (see 3rd & 4th pics). It might have never received proper prep. Now it has been washed, scraped, got an application of a high build primer, and two top coats (Swiss Coffee), then it's off to the races.

When a new home is built the general contractor will sometimes throw all the trades at the house at once, leading to a variety of issues. This home was built four years ago and the knots were bleeding through the fascia trim boards and the window sills failed almost entirely. Some good prep and oil primer later they should be good to go. While there we also stained the entryway - Natural Oak
