🚨 THREE PRICE INCREASE NOTICES. IN 30 DAYS. 🚨
At what point does enough become enough?
We’re going to be a little more transparent than usual today, because we believe our customers deserve to understand what’s happening behind the scenes in the fencing industry.
In the last 30 days, Blue Line Fence has received THREE separate price increase notices from our major material supplier.
Three. In one month.
We’re talking increases on steel pipe, chain-link fabric, fittings, and fuel surcharges. Some of these materials have been affected by more than one round of increases.
And here’s the part that doesn’t seem to get talked about enough…
CUSTOMERS ARE ALREADY STRUGGLING TO AFFORD PROJECTS.
We see it firsthand. We spend time meeting with homeowners, measuring properties, preparing estimates, and discussing their fencing needs, only to have customers understandably decide they simply cannot justify the cost right now.
Not because they don’t want the fence.
Not because they don’t see the value in quality workmanship.
But because everything has gotten so expensive that another major expense just isn’t feasible.
And we get it. We really do.
But here’s where it gets frustrating.
When suppliers continue increasing material costs, those increases don’t just affect the contractors purchasing the materials. They eventually affect the homeowners trying to improve their properties, the small businesses trying to stay competitive, and the hardworking crews who depend on those projects.
There comes a point when raising prices doesn’t generate more revenue. It simply prices customers out of the market altogether.
And that’s a reality we wish more people throughout the supply chain would recognize.
At Blue Line Fence, we’re doing everything we reasonably can to keep our pricing affordable. We’re reviewing costs, protecting our margins where possible, and working hard to avoid passing every increase directly to our customers.
But we also refuse to compromise our standards by switching to cheaper, inferior materials just to make the numbers look better.
We cannot control what our suppliers charge us. But we can promise that we’re not using these increases as an excuse to inflate our profits.
We’re a locally owned, family-operated business. We live in the same economy as our customers. We understand the financial pressure families are facing because we’re feeling it too.
So when you receive an estimate from us, please know there’s a lot more behind that number than simply deciding what we want to charge.
And to those making pricing decisions further up the supply chain, we hope the bigger picture isn’t being overlooked:
When customers can no longer afford to buy, contractors can no longer afford to build, and suppliers eventually lose those sales too.
To our customers, thank you for continuing to support Blue Line Fence. We’re going to keep fighting to provide quality fencing at the fairest prices we can.
Because protecting what matters most shouldn’t become something only a few can afford.

Protecting What Matters Most.
Quality shouldn’t be compromised. Affordability shouldn’t be forgotten. And small businesses shouldn’t be expected to absorb endless increases.
