From aphids to adelgid, beetles to borers. The following gallery features the array of local pests we’ve documented from our client’s landscapes in 2021 thus far. They’ve certainly kept us very busy, not to mention all the diseases we’ve encountered along the way.

Nature’s Canopy has been adapting it’s integrated pest management programs to meet the needs of our clients based on the upcoming disease and pest projections for 2022. Unfortunately we are anticipating major infestations of gypsy moth, potential spotted lantern fly concentrations, in addition to the same old offenders shown below.

Remaining true to our holistic approach for your outdoor living space, we will be incorporating new and more efficient techniques that are even better for the environment and your family in the years ahead. We have added a new mobile plant healthcare unit to our operation that will enable us to provide multiple treatments, sampling, and diagnosis in a single visit.

It’s always unfortunate to find a tree diseased with oak wilt. This can have huge ramifications to surrounding oak trees. Thankfully, Nature’s Canopy has all the resources to properly mitigate and prevent surrounding oak trees from contracting oak wilt. As you will see, we were able to inject the adjacent oak trees with fungicide to protect them.
