“Captured Love”

Another large-scale abstract piece.. abstract No 2 in the collection. I aimed to capture what the feeling of love and joy looks like. For this piece I recorded my own brainwaves with an EEG device while I listened to specific songs which I have associated with those I love. From here, I worked with color and form to create a representation of what love looks like.

Heavily drew inspiration from Cy Twombly and integrated timestamps and wave notes from the data I collected. So fun!

My first time at silkscreen printing!! This print is three layers, 1/14 editions and is a play on the visuals of the Creation of Adam. Unable to do anything by my own means but only by His will alone!
