Pebles Paints is seeking a Painter/Laborer to join our team in Spokane, WA

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, be detail oriented, and have good communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prep interior and exterior surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, taping or buffing. Apply paint to surfaces by hand or with a paint brush, roller, or other equipment. Paint surfaces according to instructions on the project brief. Document results on each project by writing detailed notes in an orderly fashion, including but not limited to dates, times, names of people involved, and any other information that needs to be recorded.
Report any maintenance or repairs that need to be made to a project to the supervisor. Maintain painting equipment in good condition by cleaning and adjusting brushes regularly, replacing parts as needed, and keeping equipment clean and dry. Keep work areas clean and neat by not leaving messes, tools, or materials outside of area where work is being performed. Communicate with supervisor regularly about needs or anticipated delays in completing projects. Work with other departments as needed to ensure that projects are completed on time and within their allotted time frames.

Skills:
·Knowledge of basic painting techniques (including spray paint) preferred but not required.
·Knowledge of construction labor is a plus.
·Knowledge of common hand tools such as chisels, nail guns, hammers, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

8-10 hour shifts
No nights
Work Location: In person
