CZS Security LLC is aware of the incident that occurred Tuesday evening at Upstate Ho**ah Lounge and the statements currently circulating on social media.

We want to be clear:
We are actively reviewing all aspects of this situation, including reports, witness accounts, and any available footage. Any actions taken by our officers during this incident were in response to a physical altercation with the primary goal of restoring order and protecting the safety of all individuals present.

Any chemical agents used during the incident were lawfully carried and authorized, in full compliance with guidelines set by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and local law enforcement standards. CZS Security LLC does not utilize illegal substances, and claims suggesting otherwise are inaccurate.

We hold our officers to a high standard of professionalism, discipline, and accountability. If any actions are found to be outside of company policy, they will be addressed accordingly.

Directive to All CZS Personnel:
Effective immediately, all officers are to refrain from discussing this incident on social media or with outside parties. Any inquiries are to be directed to company leadership. Failure to comply with this directive may result in disciplinary action.
