We are a club at NCSSM that aims to relieve and raise awareness for food insecurity by building sustainable food systems.

We are a club at NCSSM that aims to relieve and raise awareness for food insecurity by building sustainable food systems by gardening, outreach, and projects in partnership with other organizations, businesses, and groups. The NCSSM Food Ark Chapter is a part of a larger student run and led 501c3 nonprofit, The Food Ark, here in the Triangle of NC.

**Food insecurity** is the lack of necessary food, whether it be healthy foods or food in general. There is currently a depreciation of food in almost every city, thus we are trying to change that (hence the unbalanced equation - food to people). Current officers:
