Upland Heritage Fostering awareness of Upland's fascinating history & preserving our amazing historical architecture Upland Heritage has done all of these things and more.

The page is to promote events we do and local preservation concerns in the community. Upland Heritage was originally founded as Upland
Historical Preservation Society in 1989. It was founded by a group of citizens concerned with the destruction of
Upland’s historic homes and buildings. Avid preservationists like Carol Timm and Dave Stevens walked the neighborhoods to garner support for

starting a group called Upland Historical Preservation Society. After beginning, the goal was to stop the destruction of historic stock in Upland. Goals were to initiate an historic survey, form historic districts, get the Mills Act to Upland, put Euclid Ave and other important districts and places on the local and National Register, provide educational materials for homeowners and businesses and give workshops to teach about historic preservation. We have current worked on historic ordinances that would protect the historic stock in Upland for Upland's General Plan.

Thank you to all who joined for our Tea in the Garden event. Your presence helped make the afternoon truly special, and we are so grateful for your support of our mission to preserve and celebrate Upland’s rich history and historic architecture.
