We are currently looking to hire an energetic and motivated person full-time to join our wholesale sales team at MLN. He/she must have a horticultural background and/or a 4-year horticultural degree. You will work with customers and provide outstanding MLN service, load/unload plants off semi-trucks/landscape trailers with loaders/skid steers, load mulch/topsoil into trucks, lift plants onto/off trucks, manage daily activities, special order plants for customers, pay attention to plant health, work extended hours from spring to fall which includes Saturdays, winters off from mid-November to March. Did you know that New York’s 18.6 million acres of forests sequester 25.5 million metric tons of carbon each year? That’s equal to the carbon dioxide produced by about half of all the vehicles in New York State in one year of driving! Once the carbon is absorbed, trees store it permanently unless it is released through a process like fire or decomposition. And that’s just one reason why we’re such big fans of wood products. From seedling to stump, trees are always working against climate change.
