This land owner wanted the dead Cottonwoods removed without destroying the small up and coming trees. The process is a little more tedious but a lot more satisfying. Over 50 cottonwoods removed. Now the young trees have all the space and sunshine they need to thrive and be a healthy wind barrier.

The co dominant trunks of this Poplar leaned different directions. One leaned to the right of the targeted drop zone towards the cabin and one to the left towards some trailers. So we tied them together up high and felled both at the same time.
In the aerial view in the second half of the video you can see them want to go their own respective directions but the rope prevented and It split the gap nicely.

A local drone pilot made this video for us as Aaron Bulow, Colton Wetch, Tom Milbrandt and Isaac Hart were out clearing some of the storm damage.

Ground to Sky and many others are working long hours to remove trees from structures and start cleaning up the city. Please be patient as we work through the list and enjoy the video. 😁
