Well here it is, the basement renovation you've been waiting for. We removed all the wood paneling from the walls, drop cieling grids, entire bathroom including framing, all doors except the louver doors you see that we rehung and just painted. We put up all new sheetrock walls and cielings where it was possible, all new recessed lighting, as well as one sconce and one cieling mount globe light. All new outlets, gfi outlets where necessary, switches for exhaust fan and light in bathroom, as well as dimmers on all other recessed lights throughout the basement. We rewired all outlets that needed to be upgraded and brought all up to code. In the bathroom we moved the vanity location and installed a new 36" neo-angle acrylic shower base. We tiled shower area with 3"× 6" white subway tile in a brick pattern and 12"× 12" floor tile with a marble saddle at the doorway threshold. We painted the laundry room and installed 2 wall hung cabinets and a counter for folding laundry. We also updated the switch, outlets, lights, and a new drop cieling. We installed 8
7 new 6 panel colonial style interior doors and 1 exterior fiberglass 6 panel colonial door all with moldings and lever style handles in brushed nickel finish. We then laid all new lifeproof vinyl plank flooring throughout the basement except in the laundry, boiler, and storage rooms. We finished it all off with 3 1/4" base moldings painted in white semi-gloss. We also installed a new 50 gallon water heater. The stairs are to be carpeted and done by other and the sho wer door hasn't been delivered yet as of today. This was another satisfied customer and another quality job by J&M Home Restorations a division of Handyman Services 428 LLC.
