It is true...

After 50 incredible years of retail, wholesale greenhouse growing, and farming, Garden Fantasy Greenhouse has officially retired and closed at the end of 2025.

What began as a dream for Walt and Joyce Rochowiak, became so much more than a business, it became a place rooted in hard work, dedication, and love for this community. Over the decades, they adapted, grew, and gave so much through beautiful plants, flowers, neighborhood connections, and support for schools and local fundraisers.

Anyone who visited knows the care they poured into everything they grew. Their plants were known for their lush beauty, vibrant color, and quality that came from years of experience and pride in their work.
For 50 years, they gave their hearts, sweat, and tears to Garden Fantasy. Now it is time for them to rest and enjoy life in a different way. That won’t come easy for two people who have always known hard work, but it is well deserved.

To everyone who supported them through the years, THANK YOU!!! Your loyalty, friendships, and kindness meant more than words can express.

Garden Fantasy Greenhouse may have closed its doors, but the memories, beauty, and legacy they created will live on for years to come. 💚🌿

Good Morning Garden Friends!

Did you know that you can custom order your grave blankets in any color you would like? We can also add items like angels, bears and cardinals as well.

There is still plenty of time to get those orders in. We also have a few premade available as well and will have more over the next couple days.

Rotary Club of Belleville, MI is sponsoring a food drive for the local emergency food bank. Non perishable items can be dropped of at the Belleville Area District Library.

Rotary Club of Belleville, MI is sponsoring a food drive for the Emergency Food Closet at Belleville First United Methodist Church. Non expired canned goods can be dropped off at the Belleville Area District Library during the month of November.

The Van Buren Township Downtown Development Authority (DDA) would like to thank everyone who participated in this year’s Scarecrows in Harris Park event!

Your creativity and community spirit made the park a festive and welcoming place for all to enjoy this fall season.

We are pleased to announce the 2025 winner, the Mummy, by Garden Fantasy Retail & Wholesale Greenhouse, followed closely by a tie between Pumpkin Man by Ground Control Landscaping and Pumpkin Head by KSpringer Media Management.

The winner will be contacted to schedule a day to pick up their prize.

Congratulations to all of our winners and a heartfelt thank-you to every participant who helped make this year’s event such a success. 👏

Good Afternoon Garden Friends!

As many of you know we have started sending out courteous calls reminding everyone that we are now taking Grave Blanket orders.

To place an order, you can come into the greenhouse or give us a call at (734) 697-1765.

If you are not sure what you would like to have made this year, be sure to stop by. We can pick a ribbon first and then pick the flowers to match.

We can make 3 sizes of grave blankets, cemetery wreaths, saddles, and cemetery cones. All with fresh pine and artificial flowers of your choosing.
