Soft taps on my shoulder are hinting spring and this:

“When the world moves too fast
and you lose yourself in the chaos,
introduce yourself to each
color of the sunset.
Reacquaint yourself with the earth
beneath your feet.
Thank the air that surrounds you
with every breath you take.
Find yourself in the appreciation of life.”

Words of Christy Ann Martine

Spring always seems to come on fast and is all too fleeting leaving me without presence. My goal is to relish in its existence this year.

I’ve heard two wildly different predictions for New England’s March from temperatures to be consistently above average to a 3 foot snow storm.

What’s it going to be? ☀️ or ❄️

Our tulips from last spring expected to be in bloom within two months👇

My Love and I finally got our next setup of bookshelves!!! ❤
Left is casual reference books that I haven’t read yet, middle is all the pretty stuff, and the crowded and tattered right side is all of my tried and true references books and notes that have been with me through this long journey. :)

Cleaning up the inside plants and their table from IKEA!! ❤
I was also super excited to finally test our Bluelands cleaning tablets. I love helping reduce plastic waste and their products come in the form of tablets, not big bottles of mostly water and some cleaning agents. And it’s so much easier to store, too!
Anyway. The table is now clean, the plants are cleaned, repotted and fed, and everything is ready for Spring to begin!

*SolTech plant lights* go check them out, too!

Now with the sunshine finally coming out, it’s a good time to clean up the indoor plants! I had a Sunday off and it was so nice to reconnect with a hobby that I love and restructure my little plant table setup and get my mostly cactus collection cleaned up.

Plants with big leaves often collect up dust through the year- so it’s good to get them gently cleaned in the beginning of Spring. Plants absorb light through their leaves to feed, if that dust layer is too thick, they really can’t grow very much. So this is a good annual practice to have. 🙂
I use a soft Terry cloth and Miracle-Gros Leaf Shine spray to get all that dust off of them.
Just a spray on the leaves and a spray on the towel and a very gentle wipe will do and they shine so nicely afterwards!

It made me so happy to be able to get them looking so nice again.
