Here is a project that happened around my home! (Yes, I do have to occasionally get stuff done around my own house!) We moved the water heater and needed an enclosure built to hide it.

The water heater is a 50 gallon electric hybrid that did not need any additional venting. The walls are 2x4 with a drywall exterior with a 32" barn style bi-fold door to hide the opening.

This part of a larger ongoing update (time and motivation dependent timeline 😄) to our home... more to come!

Quick and easy project before I head out for the weekend... the face of the kitchen drawer broke off. No surprise, it's a particle board drawer. The drawer was repaired with glue to get it back together, but that didn't last long and it was broken again.

We made a new box of plywood that will last much longer to the humidity, wear and tear of a typical kitchen. It's got a little way to go before completion (needs sanding, a roundover on the top edge and a clearcoat), but its well on its way to completion!

What do you do when you have a small space to fill in your cabinet? A wine rack is always a good choice!

We recently removed 2 drawers from this 36" Drawer Base Cabinet and installed a microwave drawer. This left a space of about 6" Wide by 15" Tall to deal with. It's really too small to make a useful drawer and putting a false drawer front would waste about 1.25 cubic feet of cabinet space. So we designed, built and installed this custom wine rack that will comfortably hold 4 bottles!

Just finished up this outdoor wet bar for another happy customer in Sarasota! This simple build measures 64" x 24". It is located next to the pool as an easy staging area for outdoor gatherings. It features a 12x12 sink and 41x18 stainless steel doors for access to the storage underneath. A smooth concrete top adds durability and character to finish out this workpiece.

Helping with this build was the multi-talented Eddie Nucatola. His help made this an easy build from start to finish!

Another fun project completed! We just finished this custom laundry cabinet for a customer in Nokomis. They went from a side by side with one shelf above to hold all the laundry items with no storage, to a stacked unit with a lot of storage that is easily accessible.

It features 2 large drawers with soft close hardware, a 52" high storage area for Vacuum, Floor Scrubber and other larger items. There is also a Valet Bar to hang clothes coming out of the dryer.

We spent the last week building this custom bath vanity for a Historic Home in Venice. It is made of all wood (no particle board or MDF) with raised panel sides and doors. You may also notice the medicine cabinet above that we built and installed last year. Full disclosure however- We did sneak a few modern amenities like soft close hinges and drawer slides!
