Australian Native Plants The nursery is open by appointment Monday to Friday 9am-5pm We import tissue cultured plants and visit Australia every year to resource new plant material.

Australian Native Plants was established in the early 1990’s by me, Jo O’Connell, with the help of my husband Byron Cox. From the beginning, our vision was to provide plants that are hardy, drought tolerant, cut flower producing and bird attracting. We propagate most of our own plant material although we do bring in plants from other nurseries that grow Australian plants in California. We import s

eed from Australia, and cuttings are grown from plants grown around the property and the many gardens we have cultivated in the area. Our aim is to offer a quality grown plant from the many diverse plant communities in my home country. We wholesale to other nurseries and cut flower growers in California. We are specialist growers, open by appointment. For more information about visiting, please visit our website.
