I finished up my shed project for a client yesterday. As always there are little things I wish were more perfect, but in all it is square, plumb, level, and sturdy. The client said he it was much better than he had envisioned and hoped for, and I know it should last a great many years. It was a fun project, but I am glad to have completed it and move on to other things.

True to form I neglected the “befores,” but here is the bathroom reno after replacing the subfloor (after a bit of reframing), floor covering, some drywall, trim, shower, toilet and vanity, 4 tons of caulk and waterproof vinyl floor covering with 6 mil underlayment to stop leaks from coming through the first floor ceiling light, various plumbing repairs, painting the ceiling door, and double coating the walls.

Not shown: drywall repairs at the base of the stairs to remedy the holes from the puppy gate, and drywall ceiling repair where previous leaks came through the ceiling light.

Thanks to James’ good help cleaning our gutters while I did some pruning, we were able to help out another KHR client in about half the time!

Here are the after pics. Not quite as good of light as I would like for the picture, and the difference is kind of subtle. It’s a lighter shade of yellow in a satin instead of gloss. The white semi gloss on the baseboards and wainscoting really pop nicely, and the ceiling came out great. I love Sherwin-Williams paint! Another happy Kelly Home Repair customer!
