Just finished up a kitchen upgrade project that turned out great! The original task was to replace the existing over-the-range microwave and cabinet with a more efficient and decorative exhaust hood hat ducts to the exterior. We knew this would leave an awkward blank space above the existing tile backsplash so we came up with a solution that also enhanced the space aesthetically. Carefully, we cut out the existing tile behind the range area and installed an accent backsplash area to fill the new wall space and compliment the existing adjacent tile. The final outcome came out great! Here are a few before, during, and after pictures of the process.

We are battling through this arctic weather lately, here is our most recent bathroom remodel completed. Replaced the old cast iron bathtub with a walk-in tile shower, installed new tile flooring, updated the bottom wall half with a clean board and batten trim, along with updating/replacing all fixtures. End result is a nice and clean looking bathroom.

Another project finished up! Pulled carpet from this hallway and the top (7) stairs and replaced with oak hardwood flooring and oak stair treads. Pleased with the results and the match to the existing stair treads. Let Ström Construction help you with your next project.

Here’s a quick weekend backsplash project we just completed. Simple white subway tile is a timeless upgrade that can brighten your kitchen space and offer an affordable upgrade.

Updated the electrical wiring for hardwired/switch controlled undercabinet lighting, replaced the old tan electrical receptacles/switches/plates to white, and installed a new kitchen faucet in addition to the backsplash tile. (Customer just had countertops replaced).
