Wedding season is here 👰✨ and there’s something exciting about spaces designed for life’s biggest moments.

Recently completed by our Traverse City team, Vow'd Weddings in San Antonio, TX, is a bridal concept by Altar'd State where layout, materiality, and atmosphere come together to create a more intentional shopping experience

Designed to feel warm, clean, and approachable, the space supports both the customer journey and the brand experience from the moment guests walk in. Along Broadway, new storefront systems, illuminated signage, pink awnings, and curated interior moments help create an experience that feels both memorable and inviting.

Where learning, play, and nature come together.

We are excited to celebrate the groundbreaking of the playground renovation at the Los Angeles Community College District West Los Angeles College (WLAC) Child Development Center — a reimagined outdoor environment designed to support learning through play, nature, and exploration.

Inspired by the culture and history of Culver City, the new playground will introduce nature-based play areas, outdoor classrooms, sensory experiences, and spaces that encourage collaboration and social development for children of all abilities.

The renovation transforms the playground into a more natural and engaging environment with native planting, garden spaces, shaded gathering areas, and inclusive play features designed to support creativity, wellness, and hands-on learning.

Designing for the future of healthcare starts with understanding the people shaping it.

Studio+ was proud to be a table sponsor of the 16th Annual SMPS Tampa Bay & AIA Tampa Bay Healthcare Symposium — Aging Forward: Healthcare Design in an Era of Generational Change.

The conversation brought 300+ leaders from across healthcare, design, construction, and capital planning together to talk about where the industry is headed and how generational change is reshaping the way we plan, build, and care.

Alexander Menshikov, Vanessa Tyler, Ousama Mortada, Joy Brownworth, Adam Bentham, Scott Vanderford, Rachel Hunter, and Manuel Alvariño represented the Studio+ team, bringing back valuable insights that will continue shaping how we design for healthcare clients across Tampa Bay and beyond.

Hosted by SMPS Tampa Bay and AIA Tampa Bay, the symposium featured thoughtful perspectives from Michelle Mader, Jennifer Burrington, Arnulfo Castillo, Dave Kistel, Philip Minden, and Melissa Golombek on the future of healthcare design.

A small island. A close community. A big step forward in local healthcare.

Studio+ joined partners and local leaders to mark the ribbon cutting of Boca Grande Health Clinic Foundation, Inc. — a new 9,809 SF, two-story outpatient facility designed to expand access to care right where it’s needed most.

Drawing inspiration from the surrounding coastal landscape, soft aquas, warm neutrals, and natural textures shape a calm, welcoming environment that feels distinctly Boca Grande. Projects like this strengthen communities, expand access to care, and create spaces that support everyday life.

Breaking ground on the future of outpatient surgery.

Studio+ and DeAngelis Diamond have officially broken ground on a new outpatient surgery center for WVU Medicine at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV — the first facility developed in Appalachia through Arthrex's Surgery Center Innovation (ASC X) program.

The ASC X program brings surgeons, designers, builders, and surgical technology experts together early to shape facilities built for the future of outpatient care. The two-story center will include operating rooms, pre- and post-op recovery areas, and essential support spaces, with a shelled second floor designed for future expansion as community needs evolve.

Designed as a model for efficient outpatient environments, the facility prioritizes patient experience, clinical performance, and long-term adaptability. Once open, it will support advanced, minimally invasive procedures while optimizing workflows and operational efficiency.
