On June 19, 1865, the last enslaved people in the United States received the news of their freedom — a moment that represents one of the most important chapters in American history. Juneteenth is a day of celebration, reflection, and remembrance. It belongs to all of us.

Today we honor the resilience, culture, and enduring strength of Black Americans — and we recommit to building a country that truly lives up to its promise of freedom for all. 🇺🇸
