A little bit about me...
Many years ago, I became a warrior against dust and disorder. This whole story started when I was a teenager and I used to spend hours and hours trying to keep everything “perfect”. One miraculous day, I realized that I could make my life easier by keeping less things. Simple math, right? Less things, less cleaning time. Super smart, right? Like no one else had thought of it before ; )
The point is that reducing the amount of objects wouldn’t be enough if you don’t have certain organization system. So I had another epiphany in my life: I had to organize everything following a path.
It’s funny how vividly I remember that first day that changed my whole life. Like a soldier, I took everything out and started sorting things. I had never, ever, ever experienced before the roller coaster of emotions. There was a huge pile of objects in front of me. I felt ashamed about it. There were many things I never used or only used once. The whole situation was just absurd.
That day was a turning point for me in many ways, and of course in time when you adapt to a style it’s easy to become an expert. It helped that I watched my Dad. He’s an organized person too who also runs a Hardware Store. The perfect combination: organization, techniques and tools.
In 2018 I arrived to United States from Venezuela. In my country I was the Founder and CEO of a Nonprofit Organization named “Human Rights and Cinema Venezuela”, working with children and teenagers at-risk. So, I knew that I didn’t want to invest my time in a pointless job. I wanted to continue helping people.
Trying to decide what to do, I had for the third time in my life a surprising epiphany. I’m sure you thought it before me, so obvious right? I had to help and share with other people the happiness I found by keeping my home organized. Since then, I’ve been assisting individuals, couples and families. Adapting my knowledge to their own expectations and lifestyles. As John Dryden once says: “Home should be the sacred refuge of life”.
