The rumors are true! Sarah, former manager of Thoreau’s Garden, is taking on the greenhouse for the next season! 🪺🌱 The new business will be called “Little Bird Plants” at the greenhouses on 520 E Terhune st Viroqua WI! Sarah will continue to offer houseplants throughout the winter, and a nice variety of annuals and perennials in the spring. Closed this month for repairs and painting, OPENING END OF NOV. 2023 Follow for updates! Wee 💫

Thoreau’s Garden IS CLOSING at the end of October!

"After much soul searching and deep reflection the Thoreau College Board of Trustees has decided that we would like to close the Thoreau's Garden business at the end of the current growing season. We have decided not to renew our lease with Pleasant Ridge Waldorf School at “Growing For Good” greenhouse at 520 E Terhune St. because of infrastructure and staffing concerns. We would like to thank the community for a beautiful few years of support.” -Thoreau College
