here is an update of the Downtown Visalia House. At this stage everything has been sanded, primed, and mudded. The next steps will be to sand everything, then cleaned all dust out of the rooms.. Caulk all edges in clean. Mask floors and windows. Then spray prime everything more time. Then it's going to be lightly sanded one more time and double checked for imperfections with a light.

Quick Tip, always roll your first coat of primer. the texture will give the mud something to grab on to. Makes it a little easier to leave some product behind and get a good float.

Here some pics of the down town Visalia project. Windows needed to be clamped and glued. Upper windows were caulked in crooked and not tight the threshold. Had to cut all caulking out. Entry way sanded down getting ready for primer.

These are the before pictures of the down town Visalia project. In these pictures I have not touched anything. There is major cat damage in this house. They scratched trim all the way off doors, slept in the book shelves, major cat p*e damage. Furniture and whatever dings everywhere all the way back from 1917 I believe. All the plaster is cracked or badly repaired. There are not many clean edges from wood to plaster. The windows look like they're going to take a lot of stages. Floors will be pulled. nothing was painted correctly. They painted multiple time over finished wood without sanding it. It looks like weeks of sanding and scraping. Normally I would like to replace a lot of the wood trim that is damaged, but the owner would like to restore all the nice hardwood and not replace it with fake wood lol.

Another one down. This project had major stucco cracking. Kris Korsgaden from Korsgaden construction repaired all the cracked stucco. Then I came in behind him and put on a lot of paint. It's painting season. Give me a call (559) 331-7009.
